Sue Andzik was raised in Colorado Springs, raised her children with her husband in Golden, CO, and now calls Monument, Colorado home. After 30 years of raising children and working she has finally been able to get back to the painting she loves. Sue is an award winning artist, winning First Place along with People’s Choice Award in her first juried show with the Palmer Lake Art Guild. She is currently an active member of both the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. Along with landscapes and still life painting, Sue loves painting animals and faces. She feels she has been blessed with opportunities and a good life.

One of her favorite quotes comes from the late Erma Bombeck and she has taken it to heart: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say, I used everything you gave me.”
